On our website we use the external analytics service Multimedia Center of our webcast provider Intrado Digital Media AB | Hallenborgsgatan 1A, 201 20 Malmo, Sweden (“Notified”).

Our advertising service provider Mediascale GmbH & Co KG is responsible for data collection for online advertising. The tracking system from the service provider: ADITION technologies AG, Oststraße 55, D-40211 Düsseldorf is used. 

The system is utilized on our websites for campaign impact tracking. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

 

When controlling user-based online advertising (so-called retargeting), contacts (visual contacts and clicks on advertising banners) that users have with advertisements on other websites are related to subsequent interactions on our website. The collected data is statistically evaluated in order to optimize the performance of the media campaigns. All collected usage data is stored using a pseudonym. The collected data is not used to personally identify visitors to our website and is not combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of data regarding members’ visits to your website, including the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics (User Agent), and timestamp. The IP addresses are truncated or (when used for reaching members across devices) hashed, and members’ direct identifiers are removed within seven days in order to make the data pseudonymous. This remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted within 180 days.
LinkedIn does not share the personal data with the website owner, it only provides reports (which do not identify you) about the website audience and ad performance. If you want to make use of the job matching functionality, we need additional application documents, such as your resume, certificates and/or a cover letter, which can be uploaded to the website. An automated algorithm compares the documents you provide with current vacancies at Bayer in order to be able to offer you career opportunities tailored to your needs. The document will be automatically deleted afterwards.

 

12. Determination of the Location

On our website, we use a Geo-IP service provided by Akamai Technologies Inc., to determine your location based on the IP-address of the device that you use when visiting our website. Based on your prior consent, we will propose you a respective country website of the Bayer group when viewing the Locations menu. Besides that, you may also be able to use the “Autotranslation Feature” which enables you to automatically translate any page into any language. Therefore, the service collects the following data:

13. Chatbot Use

Parts of this website make use of a chatbot. Its purpose is to provide you with additional information about careers at Bayer based on your needs and requested by you. The chat sessions are stored for a period of 30 days so that you may continue your conversations at a later date. You can directly activate or deactivate data storage using the data privacy menu at the top right of the chat window (by clicking on the three dots).

 

II. Transfer of data for commissioned processing

For the processing of your personal data we will to some extent use specialized service contractors. Such service contractors are carefully selected and regularly monitored by us.
