Maged ElShazly is the Managing Director for Bayer Saudi Arabia and the Country Commercial Leader for the Bayer Consumer Health Division. With 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Maged has a proven track record of developing and executing commercial growth strategies aimed at accelerating brand growth and improving sales performance and profitability. Throughout his professional journey, he has demonstrated a solid ability to turn around businesses across multinational companies and start-ups.
A keen strategist, Maged possesses an intricate understanding of the region and has hands-on experience in budget planning, product launches, and seamless complex project execution. During his tenure at Bayer, he has implemented spearheading initiatives that have significantly impacted market share, revenue growth, and patient outcomes through empowering the transformation of everyday health for people around the globe.
Prior to his current role, Maged was the Country Commercial Lead for Bayer Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri- Lanka, and was the Global HCP Marketing Leader for the Dermatology Global Category Business Unit in Basel.
Maged holds an MBA from the University of Bradford School of Management in UK and a BS in Pharmaceutical Science from Cairo University.
