As part of its commitment to improving patient outcomes living with cardiovascular diseases, Bayer partnered with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) to sponsor the "Albak Amanah" (Your Heart is Precious) initiative for the early detection of heart diseases in Egypt. This effort, which will run for a minimum of three years under the presidential “100 million Health” initiative, focuses on heart diseases common in elderly patients. Alongside public awareness efforts, "Albak Amanah" aims to train 5000 healthcare professionals across 401 primary healthcare facilities in 21 governorates through an extensive educational program aimed at enhancing their expertise in cardiovascular care.

In May 2024, Bayer and Huma Therapeutics expanded their partnership by launching an innovative digital heart health risk assessment tool in Saudi Arabia, a step that aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 healthcare transformation strategy. The tool offers a non-invasive method to rapidly evaluate and predict cardiovascular disease risk. This initiative underscores Bayer's commitment to leveraging digital health solutions for preventive care in the region, while also supporting Saudi Arabia’s broader goals of reducing the burden of cardiovascular diseases through early detection and improved access to healthcare.
