Targets 2030
Bayer Switzerland is guided by the Group's global sustainability goals. The aim is always to help thrive people’s lives. In 2020, the variable compensation of the Board of Management and management was also aligned with the sustainability goals. These targets are quantifiable and are independently audited.
The Sustainability Goals of the Bayer Group
- We have already set ourselves the goal of increasing the proportion of women in senior management to at least 33 percent by 2025 and to 50 percent by 2030. At Bayer Switzerland, the quota of women in top management is currently 25%.
- Our climate goal is in line with the targets set by the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5oC. This was confirmed by the Science Based Targets initiative in summer 2020.
- We have also undertaken to comply with the “Net-Zero Emissions” climate goal by 2050
In addition, the Bayer Group is committed to thrive people's lives by...
…helping 100 million small holder farmers in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) to produce enough quality food for themselves and others.
…enabling 100 million people in underserved communities to access everyday health.
…provide 100 million women in low- and middle-income countries with access to modern contraception.
