Heike Hausfeld*

Heike Hausfeld was born in Osnabrück, Germany, on September 19, 1965. From 1985 to 1988 she trained as a mathematical-technical assistant at Bayer AG. She then worked there in information technology.

Hausfeld has been a member of the Works Council of Bayer AG since 1994, since 1998 as a full-time member in various areas of responsibility. From 2005 until the company's dissolution in 2020, Hausfeld was a member of the Supervisory Board and Vice Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Bayer Business Services GmbH.

From 2015 to 2022, Heike Hausfeld was Chairwoman of the Bayer AG Works Council at the Leverkusen site. She has been Chairwoman of the Bayer Central Works Council of Bayer AG since April 2022.

She is active in an honorary capacity on various committees of the Mining, Chemical and Energy Industrial Union (IG BCE), and has been Chairwoman of the IG BCE District Executive Committee in Leverkusen since 2015. Since 2022 Hausfeld has been a member of the Honorary Board of the IG BCE. She has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Bayer AG since April 2017, and has been its Vice Chairwoman since the end of the 2022 Annual Stockholders’ Meeting.

Heike Hausfeld lives in Leverkusen and has two grown-up children.
