Our Commitment During the Coronavirus Pandemic

To patients, consumers, farmers, and stakeholders around the world,

For generations, people have trusted Bayer for solutions that help them live healthier lives and help provide a reliable supply of high-quality food.

In the light of the global coronavirus pandemic, health and nutrition – two of our most basic human needs – take on even more importance.

For that reason, our more than 100,000 people at Bayer are focusing on a few essential priorities.

First: Protecting the safety and well-being of our employees as well as the communities in which we live and work around the world. We have implemented far-reaching measures aimed at minimizing infection risks in our sites. Wherever possible, Bayer employees in affected areas are encouraged to work from home. For employees who can only perform their duties on site, we have introduced enhanced safety and social distancing practices.

Second: Led by our highly committed employees around the world, we are implementing the necessary measures to ensure business continuity in our operations. Delivering a sustainable supply of products and services to hospitals, doctors, patients, consumers and farmers is a top priority for us. Our responsibility and commitment to all of you is enormous – and we will not let you down!

Finally: We are using our knowledge and reach to support the combat of the virus. Extraordinary circumstances call for extraordinary levels of support, and we will deliver. We are supporting governments, health authorities and communities with urgently needed medicines, supplies, and financial support.

You can count on each and every one of us at Bayer. Guided by our purpose – Science for a better life – we will do whatever it takes to help serve the world’s health and nutritional needs both during and after this crisis.

Thank you for your continued partnership.
