Lisa Safarian

Regional Head, North America

Lisa Safarian serves as a member of the Commercial Operations Leadership Team as Regional Head of North America (NA) for the Crop Science division of Bayer. Based in St. Louis, she leads the business in delivering value for NA-based customers.

Previous to this role, Lisa held a variety of positions during her 30+ years at Monsanto. Most recently, she led Monsanto’s North America business; prior, she held domestic and international positions including Vice President for Monsanto’s U.S. Commercial business, President of Monsanto Canada, and Vice President of Seeds & Traits and International Product Management.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University. Known as a champion for diversity and inclusion, Lisa is an active volunteer in her community and church - and has been recognized as Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women and a Leader of Distinction by the YWCA of Metro St. Louis.
