Jens Hartmann
Regional Head, Asia-Pacific
Jens Hartmann serves as a member of the Commercial Operations Leadership Team as Regional Head for Asia Pacific (APAC) for the Crop Science division of Bayer. Based in Singapore, he leads the business in delivering value for customers in Asia.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the agriculture industry, Jens began his career with Bayer in 1987 and has since held commercial positions in international locations including South Africa, Kenya, India and Pakistan. From 2016 to 2018 Jens held the position of the Head of Region Asia Pacific 1 for the Crop Science Division of Bayer; immediately prior to that role, he was CIO of Crop Science. Earlier in his career, Jens was Head of ACO Marketing and Country Head of India, amongst other positions.
Jens holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Bayer AG’s Commercial Training Program (Wirtschaftsassistent). More recently, he completed the Bayer Executive Leadership Program from Harvard Business School.
