Plenexos Insecticide

Pests can go undetected, leading to substantial economic losses and decreased profitability. With the increasing pressures from these silent invaders, farmers need solutions that not only address immediate pest issues but also contribute to long-term sustainability.
Plenexos, a cutting-edge ketoenol insecticide, is an advanced sucking pest management solution that harmonizes the needs of growers with environmental stewardship, making it an integral part of a regenerative approach to crop protection. Plenexos flexibly controls pests across life stages, application timings, and methods.
As a ketoenol insecticide, the product is taken up through a plant’s leaves, moves down to the roots and up again, providing all-around protection for the entire plant, including new tissue. This innovative technology is just the first step towards more sustainable and effective crop protection.
What makes Plenexos so unique?
The history of ketoenol insecticides spans decades and centers on one of their first discoverers, Dr. Rainer Fischer. To Dr. Fischer, Plenexos is "the best molecule I have ever seen" thanks to its flexibility and efficacy in controlling what can be troublesome, invisible pests that don't always show their damage before causing it.
Plenexos is the first ketoenol insecticide that allows for both foliar application on the plant itself as well as soil application. It's one of the technologies at the heart of our platform to deliver customized product offerings, addressing growers’ needs across crops and countries.
Targeting a range of sucking pests, Plenexos enhances integrated pest management strategies while remaining safe for beneficial insects and pollinators. It is also effective for a diverse array of crops, including vegetables, orchards, soy, and cotton. With an emphasis on safety and sustainability, it seeks to comply with both current and future regulatory standards, providing farmers with dependable long-term solutions. In short, Plenexos is:
- Sustainable: Based on its excellent Environmental Safety (EnSa) and Human Safety (HuSa) properties, Plenexos will offer an outstanding and environmentally friendly form of pest control.
- Long-lasting: The long-lasting effect of Plenexos means growers will use less product, gasoline, water and will need fewer repeat applications.
- Versatile: Because of its systemic properties, the product can be applied directly to the soil via drip, drench and/or foliar. Additionally, it can be applied by different modes of application (e.g aerial, plane, UAV).
