Jessica Christiansen
Head of Crop Science Communications
Jessica Christiansen serves as Head of Crop Science Communications. She is a member of the Crop Science Executive Leadership Team, as well as the Corporate Communication Leadership Team.
In her previous role, Christiansen led the Sustainability & Business Stewardship Team within Crop Science Strategy & Sustainability. She joined the company in June of 2010 as a Global Chemistry Regulatory Affairs Lead. In March of 2014 she transitioned to the Global Crop Protection Organization as the Global Crop Protection Marketing and Portfolio Lead. She then moved into the role of North American Regional Crops Lead in July of 2016, focusing on product management and business strategy for several crops. Christiansen then transitioned into a global commercial strategy role, as the Global Cotton, Sorghum, and Alfalfa Manager in October 2018. She is also a passionate diversity, equity and inclusion advocate and ally at work as well as in the community.
She graduated with a B.S. in Biology, emphasis in Microbiology, and minor in Chemistry from Southeast Missouri State in 1998, followed by a M.S. in Land Resources and Environmental Science from Montana State University in 2002. She is based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA where she lives with her husband and two sons.
