Fazenda Estância

The Vick family

It started in 2005 under the management of José Vick as a hobby, after years in the dental prosthetics industry, with just a small piece of land. Today their farms are managed by their daughters Nathalia and Aline, who also own the Estância Agro silo. With 1,200 hectares, soy, corn, sorghum, cassava and sugar cane are produced at Fazenda Estância. They establish conscious agricultural practices based on the principles of regenerative agriculture and believe this is the key to the future of agriculture.

I have always believed that sustainability is the key to the future of agriculture and various other sectors of the economy. Our goal with this project is to demonstrate that regenerative agriculture can be implemented on a large scale.

Contributing to Environmental Impact and Reducing Greenhouse Gases

The Vick family has a serious commitment to excellence in agriculture, and has found science to be an incredible partner for richer harvests. In this sense, the Valora corn program is an initiative designed to bring more value to agriculture. This business model focuses on results and offers agronomic recommendations that help farmers increase their productivity and profitability. The program also incorporates the use of FieldView to provide accurate prescriptions based on georeferenced data, agronomic and environmental characteristics of the terrain, and the selection of the appropriate corn variety, among other factors. Through this innovative approach, we also indicate specific areas for applying the Verango® product.
