Promoting Biodiversity and Sustainable Practices at Fazenda Almeida

Fazenda Almeida is dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture through innovative practices that enhance biodiversity and ecosystem health. By reserving 25% of the property for natural vegetation conservation and implementing techniques such as cover crops, crop rotation, no-till and direct seeding, the farm is working to improve the vitality of the soil and promoting surrounding habitats. Their commitment to precision agriculture, utilizing advanced technologies like pneumatic seeders and satellite-guided sprayers, allows to make data-driven decisions that optimize productivity while minimizing environmental impact. Through these efforts, Fazenda Almeida improves agricultural productivity while taking steps to contributing to environmental sustainability and resilience against climate change.
