Dr. Sascha Israel

Head of Product Supply, Crop Science, Bayer

Dr. Sascha Israel serves as Head of Product Supply for the Crop Science Division of Bayer, overseeing the planning, manufacturing and delivery of Crop Science products and solutions worldwide. 

In Bayer since 2014, Sascha Israel has been in different leadership positions across the Crop Science business. Prior to his current role, Sascha Israel was Head of Digital Transformation & IT, Marketing and Vegetable Seeds. Before that, he led the strategic integration of Bayer and Monsanto following the company merger in 2018. He previously served as the Crop Science Region Head for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. 

Before joining Bayer, Israel was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc., where he served as the Leader of Agricultural Service Line for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He holds a PhD in competitive strategy from Otto-Beisheim Graduate School of Management. 

Israel is a native of Germany, where he lives with his wife and three children.
