Brian Naber
Head of North America & Australia/New Zealand Region, Crop Science
Brian Naber serves as Head of North America & Australia/New Zealand Region for Crop Science since March 2024 and is a member of the division’s Executive Leadership Team since September 2022. In this role, he is responsible for leading Bayer’s agricultural business to deliver value for customers in the region.
Brian first joined the company in 1998 as sales representative in the United States. Through the years, Brian has taken on roles that spanned from operational execution to strategy, across different functions and geographies. More recently, he was Cluster Commercial Lead for Northern Europe based out of the Netherlands since November 2018, before assuming the role of Head of Asset Management Insecticides based in Monheim, Germany in June 2020.
Brian was Vice President and the US Commercial Operations Lead since 2014, and also took on other roles including Global Marketing & Product Management Lead Vegetables, US Soybean Product Management Lead, and US Corn Product Management Lead.
Brian comes from a family of farmers and is looking forward to driving digital transformation in ag in the region, so as to positively impact the livelihood of millions of famers, especially smallholders, in APAC. Outside of work, Brian is a proud father of two young children and together with his wife, manages a small farm of their own.
Brian graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Louis University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management from Southwest Minnesota State University. An American by nationality, Brian is currently residing in Singapore with his family.
