Bayer in Zimbabwe

At its inception in Zimbabwe, Bayer comprised of all its divisions but currently, only the Crop Science division is represented in Zimbabwe, offering various crop protection solutions to the country's key crops including tobacco, maize, potatoes, cotton, and vegetables. The growing of tobacco consumes more than half of Bayer’s crop protection products in the country. 

The crop is grown by both large-scale commercial farmers as well as smallholder farmers. Bayer conducts various on-farm demos and farmer training especially for smallholder farmers as well as conducting awareness campaigns.
