Carolina Aguerre
Carolina Aguerre is a Professor at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay, Department of Humanities.
She was a member of the UNESCO AdHoc Expert Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and Ethics Recommendations. She is Co-Director of the
Center for Technology and Society (CETYS), Universidad de San Andres and member of the Advisory Board at the Digital Trade and Data
Governance Hub, Elliot School of International Affairs, George Washington University.
Previously, she was the director of the Latin American and Caribbean ccTLDs Organization (LACTLD), and was member of the multi-shareholder Advisory Group of the Internet Governance Forum. Carolina Aguerre holds an MA from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires.
