- Bayer supports the achievement of the goals of the National Transformation Program and Vision 2030, including raising the participation of females in the workforce from 17% to 25%.
- Bayer is aligned with the targets laid out by several Vision Realisation Programs including the Human Capital Development Program (through education and training) and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (supporting diversification in non-oil related industries and boosting employment opportunities).
- Bayer is committed to the targets as laid out by the Government of Saudi Arabia in terms of the Saudization of jobs in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Bayer is committed to supporting global regulatory goals, including those of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through co-regulation and self-regulation.
Saudization Goals
In alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, our aim is to grow the number of Saudi nationals at Bayer and nurture their career growth, from fresh graduates to future leaders in the field. Our goal is to employ 145 Saudi nationals at Bayer in our Jeddah office by 2021.
Over the last two years, the proportion of Saudi nationals at Bayer has grown from 19% to 42%, including 44% men and 56% women. Many of those currently in leadership or managerial roles began with us as new graduates and have swiftly risen in the ranks to achieve seniority.
