Alongside the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and other organizations, we are proud to support The Challenge Initiative (TCI) at Johns Hopkins University. TCI is designed to create sustainable programs with strong local ownership and institutionalization within low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), to create a long-term impact which will provide millions of women with freedom of choice when it comes to planning their families and futures. TCI has already supported more than 3.5 million women in East and West Africa, India, Pakistan and the Philippines, and it continues to grow daily. Our support of TCI is independent of the use of Bayer products.
Working with our partners at TCI we authored the “Empowering Her, Health for All: The different Faces of Family Planning” story collection, where we present the journeys of real-life women and girls to build awareness about how they are impacted by their family planning journeys and decisions.
