Fighting Back

In early 2024, Bayer released an open letter to highlight the billions of dollars being diverted from agricultural R&D to the litigation industry and the resulting impact on American farmers and families.  

We are dedicated to supporting farmers and consumers by investing in research and development to ensure the continued safety and efficacy of our products. We believe in transparency and providing access to all relevant scientific information.

We will defend ourselves inside and outside the courtroom, including supporting legislation at the state and federal level. However, there is a limit to what we can do alone. We are proud to support these efforts alongside dozens of other agricultural organizations – 85+ supporters of the Modern Ag Alliance – because the future of American farming depends on reliable science-based regulation of important crop protection products – determined safe for use by the EPA.
