Innovation and Dialogue for Agriculture

Solving global challenges in agriculture through regional collaboration

Our LifeHubs are located at hotspots of innovation for agriculture around the globe and are at the core of Bayer Crop Science’s commitment to Open Innovation and Transparency. Through regional collaborations driving both innovation and dialogue on the topics of sustainable and regenerative agriculture, we are striving to ensure farmers around the globe have the tools they need to secure global food security while protecting and restoring our planet.

Bayer Crop Science LifeHub Network

Why are innovation and dialogue for agriculture so important?

As farmers around the globe are challenged to provide enough food for an exponentially growing population in the face of the imminent climate crisis, their need for new technologies is critical. Growing more food whilst simultaneously reducing the impact of agriculture on the environment is just the first step, with agricultural practices ideally evolving to restore and diversify environments around the globe, a concept known as Regenerative Agriculture.

Trust in the new technologies available to farmers is also critical if they are to have the impact on food production and our planet that we need to ensure a world with Health for all, Hunger for None. Through the LifeHubs, we are committed to engaging in dialogue with the whole of society, not just the agricultural industry, to build trust in the innovation we need as a global community.

Our LifeHub Network

Each LifeHub is integrated into the regional ecosystem, adapting to drive the maximum amount of impact within the local environment, yet always with an eye on addressing the most pressing global challenges in agriculture.
