Our Values for Science and Research

We want to listen, understand, and engage in transparent dialogue with society to foster understanding of our technology approaches and enhance trust in our innovations, our scientific processes, and our R&D organization.

With the Bayer Bioethics Program, we promote and offer guidance to our scientists for driving innovation with ethical standards. The program entails company policies, internal training, dialogue platforms, and an external advisory body made up of independent experts to advise Bayer on relevant bioethical issues.

There is no trust without transparency. Bayer has therefore initiated transparency initiatives on various aspects of conducting research in life sciences to promote transparency beyond regulatory requirements and encourage an open dialogue about our scientific work and innovations.
