Bayer Vietnam Supports the Vietnam Young Physicians' Association in Community Healthcare Efforts

  • Bayer Vietnam has sponsored 500,000 boxes of multi-vitamin supplement in the form of effervescent tablets for the humanitarian medical examination and consultation activities implemented by the Vietnam Young Physicians' Association in 49 provinces and cities nationwide.
  • This is part of Bayer's Patient Support Program, which has delivered nearly 2 million boxes of multivitamin supplements free of charge to vulnerable groups in Vietnam. The supplements are distributed through hospitals and partner organizations conducting medical screenings and treatment.
     

Yen Bai, March 22, 2024 - Bayer Vietnam has sponsored 500,000 boxes of multi-vitamin supplement in the form of effervescent tablets to support the Vietnam Young Physicians' Association (VYPA)'s humanitarian medical services. These effervescent multivitamin tablets, supporting everyday energy release, helping reduce tiredness and fatigue, will reach individuals in need across 49 provinces, with a focus on those facing financial hardship or limited healthcare access in remote areas.

Bayer Vienam has sponsored 500,000 boxes of multi-vitamin supplement to support the Vietnam Young Physicians' Association in Yen Bai province.

The handover ceremony coincided with VYPA kicking off the "Free Medical Examination Campaign and Technology Transfer to Hospitals in Ethnic Minority Areas" program in Cam An commune, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province. The event was attended by leaders from the Ministry of Health, Yen Bai Province, and a team of volunteering doctors. Nearly 1,000 local residents received free health screenings, consultations, and necessary medication during this event.

Consultations
Nearly 1,000 local residents received free health screenings, consultations, and necessary medication in the event.

This initiative with VYPA is an important part of Bayer's larger Patient Support Program, which has been implemented in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health and followed the guidance of the Department of Medical Services Administration. Through this program, the company has offered nearly 2 million boxes of multivitamin supplement to vulnerable groups in Vietnam free of charge. These products are delivered through partner organizations that conduct medical screening and treatment. Distribution began in December 2023, and to date more than 1,700 boxes have been provided to healthcare centers across 12 provinces.

The program aims to make high-quality nutrition more accessible for underserved communities nationwide and ensures those most in need can access vital supplements for their health and well-being, fostering equitable healthcare for all Vietnamese citizens.
