For more than 25 years of its presence in Vietnam, Bayer has gained the trust of patients, medical community and other healthcare partners and this is a remarkable achievement of the Division. The innovative products have help to contribute in improving Vietnamese people's quality of life in many threatening diseases like heart diseases, cancer, diabetes, contraception, infections and many more.
We concentrate on scientific information programs to provide a forum for medical updates and knowledge sharing with a same to benefit for patients & healthcare providers in Vietnam. Bayer actively supports community programs to raise awareness of healthy lifestyle, disease prevention as well as to increase access to innovative medicine.
As we aim to improve people’s quality of life with our products, we are constantly innovating and maximizing the inventions from global Bayer's R&D to meet with increasing demands of medical care in Vietnam.
Consumer Health
Consumer Health Division has been in Viet Nam since 2005 and has been one of the leading OTC (over-the counter) companies in Vietnam.
For the past 10 years Consumer Health Division has continuously invested in research and development to bring customers OTC products of best quality ranging from multi-vitamin mineral supplements, medicated skincare, allergy and gastrointestinal. Currently, Bayer products are widely distributed nationwide in Vietnam.
With the vision “Lead for Life”, the Division globally in general and Vietnam in specific commits to continuous innovation, development, expansion of our portfolio to offer the products of highest quality to the customers and to help improve the quality of life of Vietnamese people.
Crop Science
From the very beginning of its operation in Vietnam, Crop Science Division has achieved sustainable growth thank to the market of crop protection products for rice.
Bayer’s crop protection products including fungicides, insecticides, herbicides and Seed Growth for key crops all over Vietnam. We also introduce to the market varieties of hybrid rice seeds, vegetable seeds, corn seeds as well as professional Environmental Science products.
With the aim to support the farmers to increase productivity and product’s quality sustainably, Crop Division has launched the “Much More Rice” program. Through integrated solutions including application of seeds, crop protection products, innovative cultivation methods and training, we would like to support the farmers to optimize the inputs, increase yield and through that improve profitability. After its successful launching in Vietnam, the program continues to be implemented in Asia countries.
In 2014, we had expanded the very successful “Much More” solution into coffee. Coffee hold the second place after rice on the value of Vietnam’s agricultural exports. The company is looking for opportunities to apply the “Much More” solution on other key crops, such as grapefruit.
Crop Science Division actively develops cooperation in crops value chain, as well as establish business model with local food producers in order to bring transparency as well as improve food safety for consumer.
