Bayer’s commitment to corporate social responsibility goes beyond individual projects to address a variety of societal needs through partnerships with diverse organizations and NGOs. Our approach emphasizes community engagement as key principle, embodying what we term as Corporate Social Engagement (CSE) at Bayer.
In Vietnam, our CSE initiatives cover a range of projects in collaboration with multiple partners to create a meaningful and lasting impact across different sectors.

Fostering Science Education for Future Generations
As a science-based company, Bayer acknowledges its responsibility to improve science education and promote science literacy. We believe that society as a whole must actively engage in the science that impacts their lives: science is for everyone, not just for scientists.
Since 2017, Bayer Vietnam and OUCRU have collaborated to launch a range of initiatives to enhance science education, inspiring students to explore the concept of comprehensive health on Earth in an engaging manner.
Improving living condition for underserved communities
Work towards our vision of “Health for All, Hunger for None”, Bayer Vietnam joins hands with local organizations and NGOs, to support underserved communities. Our efforts encompass:
- Offering livelihood support including includes micro-financing, tools, equipment, and technical training to empower local households in need to establish their own businesses.
- Enhancing living conditions by facilitating access to safe shelters, clean water, quality healthcare services and solutions, along with providing educational opportunities for vulnerable students.
- Advocating for self-care practices and fostering long-term wellness within vulnerable demographics.
Prompt Responding to Disasters Through Humanitarian Assistance
Responding to crises through humanitarian assistance is a core part of Bayer’s social commitment.
Through its Disaster Relief programs, the company supports communities impacted by natural disasters and public health emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic.
