Product Supply Lead
Shannon Hauf is currently Senior Vice President and Head of North America, Australia, and New Zealand Product Supply at Bayer Crop Science. Shannon and her team have responsibility to reliably supply the highest quality crop protection and seeds products to farmers while maintaining a competitive cost position. Previously she was Senior Vice President and Head of Seed Production Innovation.
Shannon joined Monsanto in 2003 and held various roles of increasing responsibility within the Commercial, Research and Development, and Product Supply Organizations. Shannon is the recipient of the Technical Excellence, Distinguished Development, and Pledge Awards; along with CropLife International Food Hero Award. She was recognized as St. Louis Metro YWCA Women Leader in the Workplace and St. Louis Business Journal Most Influential Business Woman for her contributions in business and the St. Louis community. She was recently recognized as the Distinguished Alumna for College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources at North Dakota State University.
Shannon is the in-coming chair for Marian Middle School Board, serves on BAYERPAC Board and Iowa State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Council. At Bayer she is an executive sponsor for Bayer’s Business Resource Group GROW with a focus on the development and advancement of women and provides leadership with the United Way campaign. Shannon is active in support of Adopt-A-Family and serves as a 4-H Leader.
Shannon grew up on a corn, soybean, and livestock farm in Southern Minnesota, remaining connected to the family farm operation. She has a B.S. from Iowa State University, and M.S and Ph.D. degrees from North Dakota State University. Shannon and her husband Darrin, and children Carter and Ella live on a sweet corn and livestrock farm near St. Louis, Missouri.
