Cotton Business Lead
Greg Ginisty serves as the Cotton Strategy Lead for the North America & Australia / New Zealand (NA ANZ) Region and is a member of the NA ANZ Leadership Team. Previously, Greg was the U.S. Head of Customer Experience and Enablement for Bayer’s Climate FieldView™ Digital Ag platform where he was responsible for leading sales and marketing efforts to help customers enhance their businesses through data enabled agronomic decision-making.
Greg started his career with Bayer in France as a Summer Intern in 1995 and full time in 1999 as a sales representative for the French Bayer Crop Science Consumer Business. Since then, Greg has held various positions in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance of growing responsibilities in France, Germany and the United States, including Global Portfolio Manager Consumer Branded Products, Head of Sales and Marketing SeedGrowth Coatings, North America Product Manager SeedGrowth and Key Account Manager North America and Asia Pacific.
Greg was born and raised in Paris, France and developed a passion for agriculture and helping food and fiber production around the world to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow over his career with Bayer. While not having grown up on a farm, Greg has always had an admiration for those who help feed the world going back to his grandfather who was a fisherman in the Southeast of France. Greg and his wife Delphine live in the St Louis area and are the proud parents of three children.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Duke University.
