Kelly Fleming

Head of DFS Incubator and Global Outcome Based Model Lead

Kelly leads the North America Incubator and Global Outcome-based Model team as part of Bayer Crop Science Digital Farming Solutions.  As a member of the North America Leadership Team and the Digital Farming Solutions Leadership Team, Kelly is focused on connecting North America customer needs and expectations with Bayer’s vision of 100% digitally enabled solutions by 2030.

Kelly’s career with Bayer and the legacy Monsanto company includes roles in global marketing, corporate communications, commercial development, corporate strategy, brand marketing, product launch and supply chain.  

Prior to her current role, Kelly was the Global Customer Success Center of Excellence Head, where she led a team dedicated to advancing data-driven insights and customer experience to influence business direction. She served as the global lead for corporate communication at Monsanto and spent 5 years in the company’s vegetable seed business as Global Marketing Lead. Kelly’s early career included key roles in the commercial development and launch of agricultural biotechnology traits in corn and soybeans. 

Kelly earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is married to Philippe Ballet and they have three daughters. Kelly enjoys volunteering for several local organizations, including the John Burroughs School and the Gateway Chapter of the National Charity League.  Kelly is a passionate advocate for inclusion and diversity in the workplace and serves on the Bayer Global GROW Cabinet (GROW: Growing Representation & Opportunities for Women).
