Jim Guard

Head of Global Lawn and Garden

Jim Guard serves as Global Commercial Lead for the Roundup Consumer Lawn & Garden business. He is responsible for the commercial performance of Roundup lawn & Garden in the United States, Canada and select global regions working closely with our agency partner Scotts Miracle-Gro and other global partners.  

Previously, Guard served as the North America Commercial Lead for the Roundup Lawn & Garden Consumer business. Prior to joining Bayer in 2009, Guard held various brand management and marketing positions with Spectrum Brands, Earthgrains, Ralston Foods and Ralston Purina.  

Guard graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from The University of Missouri – St. Louis and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis University. Jim grew up in Minnesota and Tampa, Florida and is based in St. Louis. He enjoys baseball, traveling and spending time with his wife and three children.
