Bayer Named One of Hawaii’s Best Places to Work for Fifth Consecutive Year
Bayer Hawaii is pleased to announce it has been named one of Hawaii’s Best Places to Work by Hawaii Business Magazine for the fifth consecutive year. This means that in a time when only 32% of Americans are enthusiastic about their jobs (according to Gallup), Team Bayer Hawaii is engaged and excited about the work they do, the culture they work within, and the benefits available to them.
“We are so grateful to Hawaii Business Magazine, but even more so to our employees who partner with us to create an exceptional workplace each and every day,” said Jean Ernst, Senior Labor coordinator at Bayer Hawaii in Kunia. “All of us at Bayer aim to provide a safe work environment, a thriving culture, and benefits that are meaningful to our teams. It’s wonderful to see this goal again realized, recognized, and appreciated.”
In an effort to attract and retain the best talent, Bayer Hawaii offers competitive benefits and rewards, including customizable health and retirement packages. Other contributing factors to the accolade include personal development assistance, an employee bonus program, tuition reimbursement for continuing education, auto and homeowners/renters insurance, a generous vacation schedule, and unique family-friendly programs are also offered to help employees keep the right balance of work and family life.
Hawaii Business Magazine’s partner in identifying the Best Places to Work is Workforce Research Group, which conducts extensive surveys of employees and company representatives. Employees’ responses count for 80% of the final score, while company representatives’ responses make up 20%.
