Bayer Thai donated 2 million THB to support the fight against COVID-19
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Bayer Thai Co., Ltd would like to be a part in supporting the treatment of COVID-19 infected patients, while take the opportunity to thank and give encouragement to medical professionals who work with dedication, sacrifice, and hard working for the public to overcome the COVID-19 crisis with safe and sound.
To cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, Bayer Thai Co., Ltd has donated a total of two million baht for purchasing medical equipment and treat COVID-19 infected patients to four hospitals including Ramathibodi Hospital, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Siriraj Hospital and Thammasat University Field Hospital. Majority of the cases are concentrated in Bangkok. The four hospitals are key hospitals at the forefront in treating patients afflicted with COVID-19.
During the crisis, there was a time when hospitals were faced with a severe shortage of medical supplies and equipment. This donation will go towards procure essential medical supplies and personal protective equipment in their fight against COVID-19
Riaz Buksh, General Manager for Pharmaceuticals Division of Bayer Thai Co., Ltd, presented donations to Prof.Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, Dean, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Prof. Dr. Suttipong Wacharasindhu, Director of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Prof. Dr. Prasit Wattanapa, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilok Phiyayotai, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University.
