Supply Center Health Care

Supply center Health Care Cimanggis Depok, West Java, began operating in 1974 or two years after construction commenced. This supply center is one of five manufacturing facilities spread throughout the world that Bayer acquired when it took over Roche’s over-the-counter (OTC) business globally in January 2005.

 

Supply center Health Care Cimanggis was built on an area of 102,000 m2 and more than 18,000 m2, is used to produce health care products.

 

To support the Indonesian government's efforts to realize a healthy and prosperous society, Bayer is committed to investing sustainably for the development of production facilities in Cimanggis, which have now reached a total investment of IDR 1.6 trillion.

 

As a major part of Bayer’s network of global manufacturing facilities, our supply center Health Care Cimanggis is currently exporting 70% of its products to 28 countries, some of which have the most stringent pharmaceutical regulations. Bayer believes that with our world-class Indonesian professional work force, state of the art manufacturing facility and Bayer’s science, the number of destination countries for our exports will increase.

In 2018, supply center Health Care Cimanggis received a BLUE rating from the PROPER Program from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Republic of Indonesia. PROPER is a program or system of assessment from the government on the performance of monitoring and managing the environment in a company environment in a sustainable manner.
