Supply Center Crop Science

Crop Science's supply center is located in Surabaya and is a world-class production facility, producing chemical plants, grain and product protection products for the environment. These products are not only distributed in Indonesia, but also others are exported to 12 countries.

We continuously  strive to produce the highest quality products. As a guarantee of product quality, our testing and calibration laboratories have received ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 accreditation: General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the international reference for laboratories carrying out calibration and testing activities around the world.

As part of our commitment to grow in Indonesia, the Crop Science division continues to invest in supply centers in Surabaya.and in 2015 we begin to operate a Seed Growth Centre, which allows us to enhance seeds from customer companies with our crop protection technology so that they become more resistant to diseases and extreme weathers, thus enabling Indonesian farmers to reap best quality crop yield.

Supply center Crop Science Surabaya facilities also produce plant protection products specifically for oil palm. As Indonesia is the world’s largest palm oil producer, we work closely with plantations to help them protect their crop. Crop Science products like Basta, Decis and Becano (indaziflam) provide the best sustainable solutions for getting the optimum yield.

In 2018, supply center Crop Science Surabaya won an award for Environmental Management Arrangements for Activities / Businesses in the city of Surabaya. Bayer gets an award with the "Obedient" category which is the highest category. This award was given by the Surabaya Government Environmental Office.
