Mechatronic Vocational Program

PT Bayer Indonesia supports the Indonesian government in improving the quality of vocational schools. Since 2018, PT Bayer Indonesia works together with EKONID (The German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce) to implement the German dual system in mechatronic training. EKONID organizes, coordinates, controls the quality and certification of the Dual System Vocational Education Program in accordance to the German model and standards. As implementation of this program, PT Bayer Indonesia collaborates with Vocational High School 56 (SMK 56) and conducts training for 3 years. The selected students received theoretical training from their school (SMK 56), and practice at the Bayer healthcare Plant in Cimanggis. Graduates of this program will be employed by Cimanggis Plant in the Engineering, Production/Packaging and Quality departments.
