Thank you, Axel!

We are incredibly sad to inform you that Axel Steiger, SBR Bayer Switzerland, passed away completely unexpectedly. 

We are all deeply shocked – with Axel we have lost a great person, a friend and a wonderful colleague and leader. He joined us in Switzerland in 2019 as CFO and from 2020 as SBR and has been with Bayer for almost 25 years. His commitment to the company and its employees was exemplary. He was always there for those around him and always had a listening ear. His humor and generosity will remain with us.

Our thoughts are with his wife, his children and his family in these difficult hours.
