Dave Tomasi

President, Bayer Consumer Health, North America
 

Dave Tomasi is President of Bayer Consumer Health North America. In this role, he is responsible for delivering and accelerating business results, leading the portfolio strategies, developing and launching future initiatives, and improving operational effectiveness. Dave is a member of Bayer’s global Consumer Health Executive Committee and the U.S. Country Leadership Team, and he is also Executive Sponsor of BRAVE, Bayer’s business resource group for military and veteran employees and their allies.  

Dave joined Bayer in 2019 as Senior Vice President for Allergy, Nutritionals/Vitamins, Analgesics, Cardio, Sun Care and Foot Care. He was then appointed to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, leading strategy and operations for the Consumer Health North America business. Dave played a key role in the turnaround of the business, driving operational excellence, financial performance, innovation, and strengthening the North America retail business. 

Dave has spent more than 25 years in consumer products across Bayer and Procter & Gamble with positions in general management, consumer marketing, and retail marketing, across some of the industry’s biggest brands and largest retailers. He serves on the board of BAYPAC, Bayer’s Employee Political Action Committee, the Bayer Fund, the philanthropic arm of Bayer in the United States, and he is the Executive Sponsor of BRAVE, Bayer’s business resource group for military and veteran employees and their allies.  He also serves on the Executive Board for the Consumer Health Products Association (CHPA).

Dave is a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, having served six years in the military as an Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army. He holds a Civil Engineering degree as a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and an MBA from Oklahoma City University.  Dave is a native of New Jersey and resides with his wife, Mary, in Florham Park, NJ. They have three adult children.
