Bayer unveils "Etiage" to boost rice production and farmers livelihood

Mr. Weraphon Charoenpanit, Crop Science Country Commercial Lead for Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar of Bayer Thai Co., Ltd. together with management team recently organized the launch event of the new innovative rice fungicide product “Etiage” in Suphan Buri. The event was attended by 6,000 farmers in Thailand.

Etiage, a new innovative rice fungicide formulated with Trifloxystrobin+Tebuconazole SC300, effectively safeguards rice crops against fungal disease such as Leaf spot, Blast and Dirty panicle. With SC formulation, it is convenience for manual foliar spray especially for drone application. With 2 applications aiming at booting and flowing stage, Etiage will protect rice panicle and grain from many kinds of fungal disease and make consistency ripening, full grain, high yield and good quality. This performance of Etiage translates into increased profits for farmers.

 

During the event, booths were set up to display the products. Demonstration highlighted the practical applications while providing knowledge and advice to farmers on rice farming. This attracted the attention of many farmers who came to acquire knowledge and seek clarification. To further elevate the atmosphere, the event concluded with a performance by the legendary band “Carabao”.
